Liverpool Book Art is inviting submissions for tables at the Kirkby Artists Book Fair. We are excited that the Fair will form part of a week-long celebration of artists books.

The exhibition 'CRAFTED' opens at Kirkby Gallery on 30th October. It is a selling exhibition of works by a range of creatives, including several book artists. Participating artists have already been selected. Liverpool Book Art and Kirkby Gallery are celebrating and promoting Book Art throughout the opening week of the exhibiton.

There will be a one-day Book Art Fair on Friday 3rd November, and we are excited to announce that due to our unique partnership there will be no stall fees for the Fair. With around 20 tables available we are looking to showcase a diversity of approaches and artist practices, for sale at a range of prices.

Kirkby Gallery and Liverpool Book Art intend that all of the week beginning 30th October will be a celebration of Book Art. The first floor of the Kirkby Centre contains both the Gallery and the popular Kirkby Library. We are seeking 'handling copies' of book art to be available throughout the week for people to discover and explore, under the supervision of Kirkby Gallery staff. Please let us know if you are willing to provide copies.

We also plan to offer daily book art workshops throuhout the week (plus talks and demonstrations). This is school half-term, so we will be offering workshops for both children and adults.

This Call is for the Fair ONLY. If you wish to run a workshop, please apply via the separate CuratorSpace call.

Venue Address: The Kirkby Centre, Norwich Way, Kirkby, Knowsley L32 8XY
