Call for mini "murals" to be printed as low-tack wall decals and displayed on the exterior walls of a micro gallery.

We'd like to invite mural artists and others whose work could "read" as a mural, to have their work displayed on the outside walls of The Angelica Kauffman Gallery, a micro gallery that is 12" x 12" x 12".

The 5 galleries exist on Instagram, and sometimes travel to studio windows with foot traffic, and the insides of glass cases in shops and libraries.  Display space on the exterior walls is 12" x 12" and walls are painted white.  A good size for a mural is probably about 6" to 8"; do not exceed 10" in any direction.

To possibly make it easier for international participation, artists may choose (but do not have to) to send the artwork, as printed on a low-tack wall decal, directly to the gallery, from the printer, within the U.S.  That's totally not required, but if it's easier than dealing with international shipping, that's an option.

Here's an example of what I mean by low-tack wall decals:  https://www.stickermule.com/products/wall-graphics

This type of product is generally made of fabric and will say "removable" and/or "repositionable."  Ideally, the mini mural will be die cut to shape, to increase the illusion of the whole idea, but that's not required.

Artwork must be family friendly, safe for work, no hate speech.

The mini gallery is a project of artist Elaine Luther.  The Angelica Kauffman Gallery is a member of the international Guild of Micro Galleries.  Visit the gallery on Instagrm at @AngelicaKauffmanGallery

Artwork will be returned by mail, artist pays return shipping, provided a stamped envelope or make other arrangements.

Who is eligible for this opportunity?
Anyone, ages 16 and up.
When is the deadline?
June 30, 2021.
When do I need to collect my work?
Since I'm in the U.S., I'll need to ship your work back to you. Please provide a postage paid padded envelope or make other payment arrangements to cover postage. This is my first international call.
How much does it cost?
No fees, no commission taken if work sells, except to deduct any payment processing fees.
Are there payments to artists?
If you would like your work to be for sale, please list a price in USD.
What are the exhibition opening hours?
24/7 online. In person depends on the venue.
Does the location have disabled access?
The public display venues that we have plans to work with so far are all ADA compliant. (Americans with Disabilities Act.) So, yes. And the galleries are also experienced online.
What publicity will be provided as part of the opportunity?
Shows and videos of the shows are on Instagram. A local paper has already written up the galleries and as the galleries travel to public displays at additional locations in other towns, there is the possibility of more press coverage.
