Exhibition Opportunity - calling for submissions
Moon Landing @ 50
Running from 3rd August to 1st September 2019, this exhibition will bring back to life the events and thrill of the first moon landing, for those of us who witnessed it, and bring it to life for younger people today.
The exhibition will explain the significance of space exploration and discovery. What we have learned from space, how it impacts on our lives today and what are the opportunities and possibilities for the future.
It will explore the fascination, myths and mythology of the human relationship with the moon in different cultures.
Artists are invited to respond to the historic Moon Landing in their own practice, exploring the physical and emotional response with earth’s moon. The selected pieces will be displayed in the exhibition space*, linking science and the arts.
