New Beginnings
Deadline: 28/03/2026City: Nottingham | Region: Nottinghamshire | Country: United Kingdom | Bo Jones
We invite artists working in any medium to submit work that captures the electric moment when one chapter closes and another begins. “New Beginnings” explores renewal in its rawest forms: the first fragile shoot after devastation, the courage of reinvention, the quiet power of letting go, and the wild hope that follows.
This exhibition invites artists to consider renovation, rehabilitation, conception, and creation, within methods that are explosive, intimate or monumental.
Selected artists will join a curated group exhibition at our new gallery here in Nottingham. The show will be accompanied by a full-colour catalogue, a private viewing and launch party, and targeted press and social media promotion.
Submissions are welcome across all disciplines, including painting, drawing, photography, collage, printmaking, mixed media, digital practices, video, and experimental approaches.
New Beginnings
As the seasons change, we celebrate the idea of turning over a new leaf, collectively, this exhibition asks a single, hopeful question: What do we choose to carry forward, and what do we dare to leave behind?
“New Beginnings” is not a denial of difficulty — it is a declaration that difficulty is never the final word.
