OPEN CALL: HIT & RUN

Deadline: 21/06/2026

City: London  |  Country: United Kingdom  |  Elephant Vision Lab

Arrive. Install. Network. Disappear. HIT & RUN is an exhibition built around movement, momentum, and temporary takeover. Across two consecutive days, the space will completely transform each day. New artists arrive in the morning, install work in the space, exhibit throughout the day, meet audiences and other artists during an evening viewing, then deinstall the same night.

HIT & RUN leans into the energy of the temporary pop up culture: A show that appears quickly, takes over, and disappears again. An encounter that only exists if you were there for it.

Participating artists will be programmed into one of the two days based on shared themes, visual conversations, and connections between submitted works.

We welcome works across fine art, sculpture, illustration, painting, architecture, design, fashion, short form video works and other relevant mediums.

👀 We’re looking for:

Wall based works, ready to hang

Freestanding objects and prototypes

Small scale sculptural works

Works must be no larger than 1m in width❗

Hanging works must be ready with appropriate fixings❗

Video works will be played on a shared screen or projector through a curated play list - Please only submit videos that are 3 minutes in length or under❗

About us:

We are Elephant Vision lab, a London-based artist duo collaboration, working across installation, sound, moving image, sculpture, and spatial design.

Bringing together backgrounds in sculpture, stage design, audiovisual practice, and narrative environments, their work explores how material, sound, and atmosphere shape bodily perception and spatial experience.

We have actively work in the exhibition sector between art universities providing curatorial and exhibition support for student exhibitions in London along with museums and galleries across the UK and Europe.

This is our fourth open call, building upon the success of Soft ground in December 2025, Loose ends in January and In Excess in May 2026.

  • Artists are responsible for transport and insurance of their work
  • Installation and deinstallation schedules will be communicated upon selection
