Are you an artist or curator with connections to East London? We are currently accepting exhibition proposals for our 2024 gallery programme!

Calling all artists and curators with ties to East London!

We are pleased to announce the launch of our exhibition program for the year 2024 and extend an invitation for proposals of wall-based works!

Artists, makers, collectives, curators, and creatives with connections to East London are invited to submit proposals encompassing a range of mediums which include but is not limited to paintings, photography, textiles, fashion, collage, drawings, prints, and mixed media.

By showcasing your art within our East London home, your contributions will play a significant role in shaping the artistic narrative of East London.

Due to our wide range of workshops and learning events in the Civic Classroom, we require that all works be wall-based to ensure we can still use the floor space.

This learning programme will attract a new and exciting audience to the exhibition programme.

What we’re looking for:

  • We are particularly interested in proposals from groups of artists or curators.

  • Wall-based works, including for our Cafe and bar

  • Artists, makers and curators with connections to East London

Applicants can be of any age and at any stage of their career.

We particularly welcome applications from artists from underrepresented backgrounds, including LGBTQIA+ people, people with disabilities and members of the global majority.

We warmly encourage proposals that include live events as part of our exciting extended programme, which might include workshops, artist talks, or performances.

About us:

The Bath House is a not-for-profit arts organisation with artist studios, event spaces, cafe and bar and much more. We are home to studios, including makers, musicians, and many local businesses.

How to apply:

  • Up to 5 images of your work/each artist’s work detailing materials, title, year and dimensions
