TBOY Studios x StylishHouseEvents are pleased to announce an Open Call for artists to respond to the theme of House Music Throughout The Decades for an incredible exhibition opportunity in Brighton this summer.

Selected artists will have the opportunity to feature alongside established Pop Artist TBOY, in an exhibition which will form part of a high-profile art and music event in Brighton in August. It is a ticketed event aimed at lovers of House Music and Art, at a landmark event-space, with a paying audience of approximately 500 VIP guests and a set and Q&A from a globally recognised and influential DJ.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for artists who are interested in exploring the theme of House music in their work. We are open to all media, with priority given to wall-hung art. We are also interested in works that explore the social, cultural, and political dimensions of House music.

Work will be for sale at the event and subject to a standard 50% gallery fee.

Submission Guidelines

To submit your work, please send the following

  • A brief artist statement (no more than 250 words)
  • High-resolution image or images of your work (JPEG or PNG format)
  • A link to your website or online portfolio (if applicable)
  • Anything else you would like to tell us in support of your application

Selection Process

A panel of art professionals will select the works that will be included in the exhibition and their decision will be final. The panel will consider the following criteria:

  • The quality of the work
  • The relevance of the work to the theme of House music
  • The originality of the work

Please note, if successful, your work must be delivered to Chichester no later than August 5th.

Artists are responsible for their own insurance and the prompt collection of any unsold work.

We look forward to receiving your submissions!
