Applications are now open for our 27th Community Art Exhibition 25 June - 18 July 2026, at Circular ArtSpace – East Bristol's first permanent art gallery, proudly housed in a converted double-decker bus! 

This will be our 27th group exhibition, forming part of a wider programme of 40 curated shows, including solo exhibitions and members' collectives.

We welcome all mediums:

Painting, photography, sculpture, installation, illustration, digital art, ceramics, video and more.

What's available:

  • 24 spaces for 2D artworks — one piece per artist, up to 110 cm x 110 cm 
  • 6 plinths for sculptures and ceramics (90 cm x 40 cm)


How to apply:

  • Submission is FREE.
  • Each artist is selected to exhibit one piece only. 
  • You may submit images of multiple works, but only one will be selected.
  • 2D works must be framed and corded.
  • We only accept original artworks (handmade prints, photography, and video are exceptions).
  • We do not accept AI generated work in any form.
  • Please include a few images of your work or a link to your website/social media.
  • Fees if selected: £35 per artist (£25 for sculptures and ceramics). 
  • No commission on sales — artists keep 100%!


Important dates:

  • Application deadline: 8 June 2026 (23:59 GMT)
  • Artwork delivery: 24 June 2026, 12 pm–3 pm (alternatively, works may be posted to arrive by 23 June 2026)
  • Opening: Thursday, 25 June 2026, 12–4 pm
  • Meet the Artists event: Thursday, 25 June 2026, 6–8 pm
  • Collection: Sunday, 19 July 2026, 12 pm–3 pm


About Circular ArtSpace: 


Circular ArtSpace is a not-for-profit gallery based in Bristol, UK, established in March 2022, supporting creativity in East Bristol.

We curate both physical and virtual exhibitions, as well as artist fairs, with a focus on supporting emerging and underrepresented artists.

Our gallery space in Fishponds welcomes approximately 300 visitors each month.

To date, we have provided exhibition opportunities to over 830 artists in our physical gallery.

When is the deadline?
8 June, 23:59.
How many works can I submit?
A maximum of three. We will select only one. Please send us a few images of your work, or a link to your website, or social media account.
When is the delivery date?
Wednesday 24 June, 12 am - 3 pm.
When do I need to collect my work?
Sunday 19 July, 12 am - 3 pm.
How much does it cost?
£35 for a 2D work.
£25 for a 3D work.
Is there a private view / opening?
There will be a special Meet the Artists event on Thursday 25 June 6-8 pm.
What are the exhibition opening hours?
Wednesday to Friday, 12 am - 4 pm. Saturday and Sunday 11 am - 4 pm.
What publicity will be provided as part of the opportunity?
The event will be promoted on the CuratorSpace platform, VASW platform, Bristol Creatives platform, Visit Bristol touristic portal, newsletter, social media, website.
Do I need to be present?
We will be glad if you can join us at the "Meet the Artists" event on the 25th of June.
What happens if my proposal is chosen?
Once selected we will send you a confirmation email with the details for the payment and the instructions for the consignment.
What are the selection criteria?
We are as open as possible to offer any artists the opportunity to show their creativity.
Can I send you my work if I can't be there for the setup day?
Yes, You can send us your work. We will do the setup on your behalf at no extra cost. please be sure we can receive the parcel before the setup day. We will send you all the instructions.
What if my work is not chosen?
We try to include all the applicant artists and we already have a waiting list. If we can't accept your work please apply again for the next one.
Can I display prints?
We are an art gallery and we are not a commerical shop. We will display original artworks only. We can display prints if your work is "handmade-print", photography, or digital. There is a small corner with a browser where we can alllow to leave some print.
Do you accept artwork generated with Artificial Inteligence?
NO
