About The House of Art and the curator
The House of Art is an independent contemporary art space based in Geneva, Switzerland. Our aim is to give both emerging and established artists the opportunity to show their work in a professional environment and to introduce their work to a new audience.
The House of Art and has been curating exhibitions for the past five years. During this time, we have organized about 5 exhibitions a year in our Geneva Showroom as well as projects in collaboration with other venues, including Shades of Nature at Six Senses Crans-Montana, Switzerland.
We strongly believe that artists need opportunities to be seen and our exhibitions are intended to create encounters between artists, collectors, art lovers and people who may simply be discovering an artist's work for the first time.

Based on our previous exhibitions, we expect approximately 100–200 visitors over the course of the exhibition, including the opening reception.
Our audience is a mixture of Geneva-based and international residents, collectors and art enthusiasts, professionals from the local and international business community, artists and people interested in discovering contemporary art.
For our exhibitions, invitations are extended to a network of approximately 2,000 professionals living and working in Geneva. The exhibition is also promoted through The House of Art's Instagram (over 1800 followers) and Facebook channels. Our focus is on creating an environment where visitors have the opportunity to spend time with the works and where genuine conversations and connections can take place.
