This is your chance to exhibit in a fantastic space in central Brighton this May during Artists Open Houses and Fringe Festival month.

Brighton loves artists & art buyers love Brighton!

This is your chance to exhibit in one of the largest arts venues in Brighton during its busiest & most creative time of year.

Artists Open Houses & Fringe Festival brings art lovers from far & wide to Brighton as the town celebrates creativity in all its forms.

Brighton based artists Beau Bottletops (Beau Events) & Bobby Dazzler are incredibly excited to be able to offer artists the opportunity to exhibit in Brighton's first affordable art fair - Flying Circus Art Fair - 23rd - 31st May 2026

Housed within the walls of the historic Unitarian, smack bang in the centre of Brighton, this space enjoys heavy footfall & is the perfect setting for showing artwork at its best.

We're looking for a range of art styles & subject matter. So whether you're a first-timer or seasoned pro, if the work is high quality, we want to hear from you.

Submissions:

  • Early bird submissions are only £10 per artwork from now until 16th March 2026
  • Standard submissions are £15 per artwork from 17th March - 19 April 2026
  • You can submit up to 3 artworks total.
  • We are only looking for 2D or wall hung artworks (no 3D, scultpure or ceramics)
  • Artwork dimensions - any size up to 2m (in either direction)


Successful Participants:

  • Participants will be notified of inclusion by 26th April 2026
  • Participants will be required to pay a participation fee per artwork based on its size


Participation Fees:

  • Size up to 30cm x 40cm = £35
  • Size up to 45cm x 55cm = £55
  • Size up to 50cm x 70cm = £70
  • Size up to 200 x 200cm = £120


Important Dates:

  • Artwork Drop Off - 21st/22nd May at the venue.
  • Private View 23rd May from 7 pm
  • Unsold Artwork Collection - 31st May 2026


Additional Info:

  • Please note all chosen work must be ready to hang to gallery standard. 
  • If you are unable to drop off and collect on the dates above, please do not apply on this occasion as we will not be able to store your work.

After submitting your first artwork, you will then be directed to make a payment. 
Subsequently, you will be able to make 2 further submissions by submitting additional forms.

Submission fees

The following submission fees apply to this opportunity.

  • Early Bird Submission Fee - 10.00 GBP

The appropriate fee will be payable using a debit or credit card after the first submission has been completed. If the submission fee allows you to submit more than once, you will be able to make further submissions after the first. Participation Fees will be based on size of artwork:

• Size up to 30cm x 40cm = £35

Are there payments to artists?
Artists will receive funds for sold works w/c 1st June minus 20% commission fees and card transation fees (usually under 2%)
Is there a private view / opening?
Yes. Private view will be invite only on Saturday 23rd May 2026 from 7pm-10pm
What are the exhibition opening hours?
10am - 5pm daily with late opening on Wednesday 27th and Friday 29th May 2026

What publicity will be provided as part of the opportunity?

Do I need to be present?
No. We encourage all artists to visit, however invigilation is not required as this will be handled by the venue.

What are the selection criteria?
Most of all we're looking for quality and originality. Our buyers are keen to source interesting and unique pieces of a high standard.
