Open Call: "In Motion". A Curated Photography Exhibition
Deadline: 14/09/2026Region: North Yorkshire | Country: United Kingdom | Allora Gallery
SUBMISSIONS NOW OPEN: "IN MOTION" – INTERNATIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBITION. Allora Gallery invites photographers from around the world to submit work for our upcoming online group exhibition, "In Motion."
Movement shapes everything we see — when we pay attention, the world reveals itself as restless, fluid, and alive.
Allora Gallery invites photographers worldwide to explore motion in all its forms, from the decisive instant that freezes action to the long exposure that turns movement into atmosphere.
We're seeking photographs that capture the energy, rhythm, and flow of a world in constant change.
The fleeting gesture, the blur of passing life, the moment suspended between one state and another.
How do you freeze a moment that refuses to stay still?
What does speed look like when translated into a single frame? Can a photograph convey not just movement, but the feeling of it?
We welcome street photography capturing the flow of urban life, sports and action photography freezing peak moments, long exposures transforming movement into light and form, dance and performance caught mid-motion, nature in flux — wind, water, wildlife, weather, the subtle movements of everyday life, abstract interpretations of speed and rhythm, and any photograph where motion is not just the subject but the energy that drives the image.

About Allora Gallery:
Allora Gallery is an independent online photography space founded in 2025 and devoted to capturing the fleeting, the poetic, and the unseen.
Each month, we curate exhibitions around a central theme, welcoming photographers of all backgrounds, styles, and stages of their creative journey.
Allora means “then” or “so” in Italian — a word often spoken in moments of pause, just before something begins. For us, it’s that quiet in-between — the breath before the shutter clicks, the stillness before the story unfolds.
We are open to submissions from photographers of all levels and backgrounds.
