Opportunity for Publishing with inkCONCRETE
Deadline: 30/04/2017Country: United Kingdom | Adam York
inkCONCRETE is a publishing house modeled on new technology and a new way of making and selling books.
We concentrate on on works produced by creative arts practitioners.
We are currently seeking proposals for our two imprints; Foundation and Monolith.
Foundation is a series of multi-author anthologies that explore how a given theme impacts on their current arts practice. The current theme is 'Quiet'.
The Monolith imprint is a series of single author works where creative practitioners are encouraged to commit to print in interesting ways. This could be a novel, a script, a collection of documentation, photographs, critical essays and experimental narratives. We encourage artists to challenge the form of the book.
Using a combination of modern print on demand technology and online distribution with traditional typesetting and book design, we want to collaborate with our authors to make beautiful books full of interesting things.
We also encourage digital copies to be sold under a 'pay what you want' model to make the work accessible to all.
There are no costs and all profits will be split equally between each creator involved in a work.
More information can be found in the FAQ section here and on the About section of our website.
