We are now inviting submissions for participation in the 21st International Contemporary Artists' Book Fair at The Tetley Centre for Contemporary Art in Leeds, UK, Saturday 3rd (11am-5pm) and Sunday 4th March (11am-4pm) 2018. DEADLINE: 11.59pm on FRIDAY 15 DECEMBER 2017

Now in its fifth year at The Tetley, the fair is taking place in conjunction with a major exhibition of new work from Pakistan (9 February - 22 April), and curated projects across the city responding to the theme of ‘The Library’.

Leeds’ International Contemporary Artists' Book Fair forms the core of PAGES, a rolling programme of interrelated events that aim to establish critical engagement with the medium of the artists’ book raising awareness, encouraging production and creating new platforms for display and exchange between audience and maker.

The artists’ book fair will incorporate workshops and performances throughout the weekend, and a keynote lecture. A comprehensive catalogue with full documentation (statements, contact details and images) for each participant will be produced, this publication will also contain newly commissioned essays and works for the page.

Table size: 180 x 75cm

Individual artists/imprints /publishers: £75

Colleges and Universities: £120

Non-attending international artists: £95 (a maximum of 10 books up to a total weight of 5 kilos including packaging).

Trade stands: £150

International tables – As part of The Tetley’s participation in the New North and South network, 5 tables are being made available, free of charge (including return postage if non-attending), to artists and imprints based in Bangladesh, India, Pakistan or Sri Lanka. Please complete the online form at the ‘Make a Submission’ tab with all the relevant information by 11.59pm on FRIDAY 15 DECEMBER 2017. All information and images must be current, and should not have been submitted in previous years.

Submissions will be reviewed and selected by PAGES and The Tetley. We will contact you by Friday 22nd December 2017 to let you know if you have been selected for the 2018 Artist Book Fair and to request payment.

How many works can I submit?
Please submit 1-3 full colour images of recent work that can be displayed on the PAGES website and reproduced in the artists' book fair catalogue.
How much does it cost?
There are a range of prices available depending on the type of organisation.
Prices for tables are as follows:
Individual artist/imprint/collective: £75
College/University: £120
Trade/Supplier: £150
Non-attending International participants: £95 (a maximum of 10 books up to a total weight of 5 kilos including packaging)

There is also the option to submit a joint application with another exhibitor to share a table.
What are the exhibition opening hours?
The event will be held over 2 days; Saturday 3rd March and Sunday 4th March 2018.
