D Contemporary is pleased to announce an open call for our popular annual summer exhibition supported by the generous sponsorship of Vermeer Partners.

Celebrating another open call, we continue our effort to discover, showcase, and support the creative practices of artists around the world. Looking to investigate the notion of progress and personal growth, this year’s theme Passages is taking inspiration from our ever-changing, fast-moving world and presents an opportunity for artists to demonstrate their vision of how art engages with global events.

We want to shine a spotlight on new ways of thinking and feeling in terms of exploring a spatial, physical, and emotional timeline. Our aim is to explore new frontiers in contemporary art by examining how current histories and our personal journeys intersect. It is through rituals, events, and experiences that we create our own paths, as well as through social change that our myths are shaped. Through a fresh perspective, the artworks for this year should reflect and comment on the zeitgeist.

We invite artists to submit up to 5 images of their work for consideration. The judging panel will review all submissions once entry has closed and select works for the exhibition in the heart of Mayfair.
