Portrait/Landscape; Photography Exhibition
Deadline: 21/06/2026Our exhibitions will explore the polarities of our lives and the world around us. These themes, shaped by your involvement, will give rise to exhibitions that are engaging, reflective, and thought-provoking. For this exhibition, we have chosen the theme, Portrait / Landscape. The Exhibition will take place in August 2026
Portrait / Landscape, the polarity being explored in this exhibition will be that between two of photography's most popular genres.
The difference between place and person can seem stark, the intimacy of a portrait and the grandeur of a landscape, but the same basic photographic principles apply to both, the capture of light and shade, exploration of shape and composition.
Exploring the differences and similarities between these two genres of photography can lead to interesting and thought provoking work.
Photographers are asked to explore this theme however they wish, whether focusing on one aspect or both in their submissions.
Submission Deadline: 21st June 2026
Exhibition start date: August
