Launched on the 19th April 2020, POST is a text-based log of notes and reflections, submitted by participants as they document their time during the coronavirus pandemic. The result is a rich, collaborative narrative formed of individual stories, which will continue to form over the course of our time in lockdown.

Write, reflect, joke, muse, vent, mumble, rhyme, describe, account. Let's grow something out of this lockdown.

You can read the latest form of POST here.

This is an open call for you to share short posts. The subject matter can be anything: a sound you hadn’t noticed before, a new habit you’ve developed, something you thought of whilst listening to the radio, a phrase you keep repeating, something you’ve rearranged, something you want to rearrange. . .

POST was fuelled by frustration with feeling mounting pressure to maintain a certain level of productivity during this time, and so the project is designed to be a low-maintenance, cathartic practice, an alternative structure that keeps a form of creativity in routine. You can choose to partake in this project in a way that suits you, submitting notes as and when, as little or as often as you wish. Perhaps this is a one-off statement, or a longer-term, daily journal entry project. And it's free.

The output is text-based, however, artists of all mediums are invited and encouraged to participate. Through this project, the aim is to gradually weave together a representative and community-based narrative, hearing voices from multiple individuals at a time when we may be feeling increasingly isolated.

The ‘POST’ project will run until lockdown restriction measures are lifted, when participants will be invited to discuss whether the log’s content will be used for any further projects.

To submit an entry, enter your text via the form of this opportunity listing, in the 'Make a Submission' tab.

The project admin will publish your entry to POST, at the end of each day.

Any contributions welcome. Hope to hear from you soon.
