This is a new event that we hope will become an annual one and will take place this year over the weekend of 2-3 April.

Submission deadline extended to midnight on Sunday 20th February 2022.

We are looking for artists, makers, illustrators, designers and printmakers at all stages of their career who make books or create prints. You may work collaboratively, for example with poets or writers, or alone. You could self-publish or be produced by small independent presses.

Processes might include: etching, monoprint, screen print, book binding, collograph, lino -cut, lithograph, typograph, letter press and more. Books may be in traditional form or objects but they should be hand made or printed in small runs.

It will take place in the Old Woollen at Sunny Bank Mills; a wonderful evocative space in the oldest building on the site; adjacent to our Gallery. There will be associated workshops, demonstrations, taster sessions and more taking place around the site including in our artists’ studios.

If you are interested in doing a demonstration or running a workshop as part of the event; either in the event space or in one of our studio spaces please let us know

Expect home-made cake and tea alongside classic refreshments from mill favourites Mill Kitchen, Grumpys, St Jude and Amity.
