The Royale Arcade Academy returns for a fourth year in a row at Arcade Studios, Belfast.
Curated by Sophia Campbell, the exhibition was originally inspired by the historic Salon des Refusés but has since developed its own distinct identity. It showcases work from a range of artists whose practices may sometimes go unseen in more conventional exhibition settings.
Presented in a salon hang style, the exhibition brings together small-scale works inviting close engagement and creating a dynamic environment.
This year’s edition coincides with Arcade Studios’ fifth anniversary, making it an especially important moment in our programme.
Arcade Studios, an artist-led gallery and workspace, will present the exhibition in its Belfast gallery space.
Last year we received just under 1000 visitors in our open night and will be promoted via Instagram and by local press coverage.
We have a growing audience of collectors, curators, and art enthusiasts both locally and online.
