We are delighted to announce the return of our micro-commissions program designed to showcase new work by artists using digital and moving image. Selected works will be presented via the venue’s 55-inch monitor at Waterside in Sale, Trafford.

//The programme consists of ten commissions over the course of a year. This is our second call out where we will invite a further three artists from among the submissions to show new, previously unexhibited work.

//Primarily we are looking for new, previously un-exhibited work in the latter stages of development to which we will offer a contribution of £250 to develop and finalise for exhibition.

// Artists working in any time-based, 2D medium (digital and traditional animations, video art) are eligible to enter.

// Due to the public nature of the display in the main foyer of the venue, the content of the work must be appropriate for all members of the public.

//The commission is open to artists’ aged 18 and above.

//Entry is free.
