Secret Knock is an independent arts and events zine based in Coventry, UK. We are teaming up with Co-op(t)’s newest exhibition to curate an exhibition of poster and graphic works within the same space, on the same evening, and following the same brief. We are inviting all graphic and poster designers from all over the world and of any level of experience to take part. Work will be selected by Secret Knock Zine will be included in the exhibition.
A little bit about the project:
Co-op(t) is a newly established collective of creative practitioners based in Coventry, UK. We are interested in supporting artists to present thought-provoking work that challenges issues faced by modern society. We are currently programming a series of ‘Arty Parties’ that take on ‘big issues’.
Our next Arty Party, ‘Integrate’ invites artists and other creatives to propose work that explores issues connected to Social Integration, such as diversity, inclusion, equality, equity, and representation.
Secret Knock zine invites you to interpret this brief in Poster / Graphic form.
We are not currently in the financial position to pay artists but we would cover the cost of printing - there would be no cost to you at all. In return for your permission to reproduce your work, your profile would be included in the exhibition and we are working with an arts marketing agency who would profile you across our social media platforms.
Work chosen to be exhibited will be presented on OSB A-boards (see attached images) and will be situated throughout the main exhibition spaces, Class Room Gallery and The West Indian Centre.
