The pandemic has affected people’s sleep and dream-time in strange ways. From disrupted sleep patterns and more vivid dreamscapes – to repetitive night visions or a vast expanse of time given over to napping and daydreaming. We think this is fascinating.

Social Distance Dreaming is a poetry and photography project gathering the lockdown dreams of the people of Leeds and beyond. Here’s the deal: you entrust us with your wonderful dreams. We sift through the collective consciousness and gift them back in a new form.

There is no closing date or word count, and please - definitely don’t worry about spelling or any of that jazz. You can also send us a voice note, video or an image of scribbled notes written in the dead of night, if you prefer.

We promise we will take good care of any dreams you share with us.
