This is another new Citizens Art London CIC art market, in a wonderful location within the grounds of St Mary Magdalene Church, Holloway Road, Islington.

We are really excited to work with the staff and Parochial Committee at Hope Church Islington aka St Mary Magdalene Church, Holloway Road - close to Highbury and Islington - to bring two new art markets to the community in November and December 2022.

These events will comprise a mixture of visual artists, photographers, ceramacists and other artists - showing and selling work. We are also hoping to have live music alongside the market and we will be inviting businesses to work with artists to create an art trail nearby (we're starting to recruit businesses now). Apply for your place at one of the two art markets, and we'll provide more info about the art trail opportunities in due course.

This is one of our art market venues, along with Blue House Yard (Haringey, north London), Melbourne Grove (East Dulwich) and soon  Finchley Central (Barnet). We also host curated exhibitions at our gallery at Blue House Yard (currently inviting photography submissions) and our gallery space is available to hire.

We charge a flat fee of £55 (£65 in December) for our art markets, and this fee covers the promotion/marketing of the event, provision of gazebos and tables on the day, and set-up/set-down.

Market dates

26th November 2022

17th December 2022

Deadline for applications:

5th November (to allow sufficient time to coordinate the art trail, as well as markets).
