Submissions for creative writing/musings/poems/thoughts around the feeling of fast in Manchester
Deadline: 27/03/2025City: Manchester | Region: Greater Manchester | Country: United Kingdom | Jack Jameson
We are looking for musings, poems, thoughts and words to be featured in our upcoming zine exploring the 'feeling of fast’, taking an audience on a journey through Manchester after dark, from sunset to sunrise, exploring night running and night culture.
We aim to showcase and celebrate the variety of paces and spaces to city life after dark, through night running and Manchester’s vibrant nightlife.
Whether you’re new to Manchester or have observed the city's transformation over the years, we want to hear all perspectives.
This could be a sensory description, observation or something as simple as some words that come to mind.
The zine is currently in production to be released and exhibited at Factory International at the end of April.
Selected works will be featured and credited in the print and exhibition.
We are particularly interested in writings that explore the 'feeling of fast' through night running and running culture.
