An opportunity to show smaller works at The Sculpture Lounge during the summer, including the Holmfirth Artweek period.

Each summer, Sculpture Lounge holds a major exhibition at their studio building in the picturesque town of Holmfirth. Running over four weeks. We have a curated exhibition in our gallery space and a selection of smaller works in the 'Lounge', a large open space linked to our gallery, lit by natural 'north light' windows.

Submissions are sought for works under £300 for the lounge. The exhibition opens 25th+26th June, 2-10th July, 16th+17th July and by appointment. We keep our exhibition installed for a further weekend for any late viewing requests.

Sales commission is 40% (no VAT) 

Delivery of work: Monday 13th June latest.

Collection of unsold work: 8th August.

Who is eligible for this opportunity?
Visual Artists and craftspeople. Makers.
How many works can I submit?
Please submit up to four examples of the type of work you would like to show, preferably the actual pieces. If we would like you to take part we can discuss final selection of work.
When is the delivery date?
13th June 2022 at the latest.
When do I need to collect my work?
8th August at the latest.
How much does it cost?
Nothing, commission is taken on sales.
Do I need to be present?
No.
How do you decide on proposals?
This is a selling opportunity, we are looking for high quality pieces in the more affordable sector of the market. We suggest a ceiling price of £300. Please avoid submitting reproductions and editions, we are looking for hand made items.
