Swordplay Zine #5: Brave. Swordplay Zine is a digital zine which features poetry, writing, art, photography, comics and more from UK and EU creatives. It is published quarterly on Gumroad.

This issue we want work on or around the theme of BRAVE.

Writing welcome - poetry prioritised.
Art accepted.
Comics collected.
Recipes received.

Please note we do not accept portfolios and will decline this type of submission.

Who is eligible for this opportunity?

UK and EU creatives only.

When is the deadline?

13th April 2024.

How many works can I submit?

Up to three A4 pages of artwork/comics.
Up to three poems.
Prose up to 2000 words.

When is the delivery date?

We publish quarterly, usually on the last day of the submission month - this time will be around 30th April.

How much does it cost?

It’s free to submit and the finished zine is pay what you feel - suggested donation is £4 which goes to running costs but you can also read it for free.

Are there payments to artists?

Nope, sorry.

What are the selection criteria?

We like work that is on theme, however you interpret it.
