TEXTILES FAIR - 'Material Encounters: Contemporary Textiles in Focus'
Deadline: 18/01/2026City: Teddington | Region: Greater London | Country: United Kingdom | Olivia England
From 20 - 22 March 2026, the Landmark Arts Centre continues its 30th Anniversary Celebrations with an expansion of its biennial Contemporary Textiles Fair. ‘Material Encounters: Contemporary Textiles in Focus’ brings together a curated exhibition of large-scale textile works, selected panels from the UK AIDS Memorial Quilt, a full programme of workshops, talks, and demonstrations, and the return of our much-loved textiles fair.
The Festival offers an accessible and welcoming way to experience contemporary textile art in a vibrant and dynamic setting.
As part of this programme, selected panels from the UK AIDS Memorial Quilt will be presented.
AIDS Quilt UK is a partnership of seven HIV support charities working together to conserve the UK AIDS Memorial Quilt, to make it available for public viewing, and to ensure it remains a living and lasting testimony of the individual lives lost to AIDS and the social history of HIV activism in the United Kingdom.
The Landmark invites proposals for both the exhibition and fair strands of the Festival. Artists, designers, and makers working within Contemporary Textile Practices may apply either for a place within the curated exhibition or for a stand in the textiles fair.
Exhibitors in the FAIR will sell work directly to visitors and retain ALL income from sales, while exhibiting artists will have the opportunity to present ambitious work curated throughout the Landmark’s hall.
This application is for a stand in our TEXTILES FAIR.
