Our popular Festive Market returns for 2026, bigger and better than ever!
This year, we're expanding into the new event space on the upper floor of Tileyard North, enabling us to welcome up to 100 stallholders to the market each weekend.
We welcome applications from both emerging and established UK-based independent artists, designers, makers and producers.
We are particularly interested in a wide range of disciplines, including ceramics, cosmetics and aromatics, food and drink, gifts for children, homeware, jewellery, plants and floristry, prints, stationery and textiles.
The Festive Market is a vibrant and well-attended event, featuring family-friendly activities, live music and street food, alongside special offers in The Hepworth Wakefield shop and café as well as discounted exhibition entry.
In 2025 we welcomed over 13,000 visitors across the two Festive Market weekends.
With the growing popularity of our exhibition opening parties, the Festive Market will be open on Friday 20 November, 7-10 pm, with ticketed entry.
To ensure the best possible experience for our visitors, for weekend 1 we will only be selecting those who can attend on Friday evening, as well as on Saturday and Sunday. Please indicate in your application your availability for the Friday evening.
The Festive Market will take place in the event space at Tileyard North, the beautifully refurbished textile mill opposite the gallery.
Applications close at midday on Monday, 29 June 2026.
Stalls are priced at £250 for one weekend, including VAT, with an optional trestle table provided.
Fees must be paid in advance to secure your place, and selected makers will be informed of payment deadlines.

Due to the layout of stalls, some stalls will be against brick walls or windows and others back to back in the centre of the space. Corner plot stalls may have two sides open to customers. Stallholders are encouraged to be creative with their stall display and make use of the space available.
Due to logistics we can only accept stallholders that can attend all days of each market weekend. Stallholders are expected to look after their stall at all times during the event. We would suggest bringing an additional person to help cover breaks (staff are unable to help with your break cover).
Stallholders attending both weekends are unable to store stock / equipment on site between the market weekends.
