The New Emergence Art Prize 2023 offers a £1000 cash prize for the winner and a permanent feature in our online gallery.

The New Emergence Art Prize 2023 offers a £1000 cash prize for the winner and a permanent feature in our online gallery. This is our fifth open art prize, we want to help under represented artists to gain exposure and provide financial support.

Application fees are £12 for one work, £20 for two and £25 for three. The application fees go towards the prize money and admin costs.

We accept applications from all international artists aged 18 or over working in any medium.

Deadline for submissions: 16 October 2023

Shortlist announcement: 23 October 2023

Winner announced: 30 October 2023

Submission fees

The following submission fees apply to this opportunity.

  • 1 entry - 12.00 GBP
  • 2 entries - 20.00 GBP
  • 3 entries - 25.00 GBP

The appropriate fee will be payable using a debit or credit card after the first submission has been completed. If the submission fee allows you to submit more than once, you will be able to make further submissions after the first.
