The New Emergence Art Unity Award is an open call for works that depict an idea of ‘unity’. The winner will be awarded a £250 cash prize and a permanent place in our online gallery. One runner up will also be awarded a £100 cash prize.

We have been considering ways in which we can continue to support newly emerging artists and we are delighted to announce the New Emergence Art: Unity Award. We believe that unity is important now more than ever with the difficulties of adjusting our day-to-day lives and our creative practices to this ‘new’ paradigm. Many of us have felt isolated or creatively stifled for one reason or another but with art we can convey a true sense of unity.

The New Emergence Art Unity Award is an open call for works that depict an idea of ‘unity’. We are particularly interested in works from LGBTQ+ and BAME artists, although this is NOT a requirement. Your interpretations of the word ‘unity’ can be as abstract or literal as you wish.

The winner will be awarded a £250 cash prize and a permanent place in our online gallery. One runner up will also be awarded a £100 cash prize. We want to keep application fees as low as possible, so entries cost only £10 for one artwork or £15 for two (fees cover admin costs & contribute to the prize fund). Please use a separate form for each submission.
