Video artists, poets and performers! We are looking for video submissions and spoken-word artists to respond to the theme of 'Perspective'.

Video artists, poets and performers! We are looking for submissions of video (up to 5 minutes) on the theme of perspective for an event taking place at 7pm on Wednesday 24th June at The Station House, Durham DH1 4SE. We are also looking for poets and performers to attend the event and deliver work on the same theme.

The event, Project/Poetry will intersperse video and live performance of spoken word, poetry and prose, giving a platform to artists and poets. There will be a free drink for performers or video artists who have contributed to the event and can attend. The event will also be documented and available for your own use.

Video submissions are welcome from all artists at any stage of their career and from all corners of the world. Work should be sent through the online form by midnight on Sunday 14th July accompanied by a short text (100 words max) outlining how the piece meets the theme of perspective. The file name should be formatted as followed: Name of artistTitle

Poets and performers who wish to read on the night should get in touch with an expression of interest.

This event is run by ‘is broken’ – an artistic collaboration between the visual artist, Alexandra Carr and poet, Lee Mackenzie and supported by Josephine Butler College, Durham University.
