Haus A Rest open call, for artists and writers - theme is - What they don't tell you or teach you in art school.

Whether it's an Art School, College, or Uni.

Teaching in these institutions is not always what we expect it to be, so this month our open call is for artwork, and writing that defines what we are or are not taught or draws attention to what we should have been taught.

Either way, we want to see your artwork that interprets, questions, or defines this along with this we need 3 or 4 single points that explain it, as in our example here.

We want exciting and challenging work that questions what we are taught.

We are media-inclusive so please submit whatever form works for you. We can accept films on Youtube and Vimeo.

Your submission should be an exploration and response to this theme only.

(NO COVID RELATED WORK)

You will need to submit:

1) A good quality image of your work  - up to three images (please do not send us thumbnail images).

2) Three/four lines of text to explain,  why you made the piece.

3) Your Instagram name so we can tag you.

Your work will not be accepted if you do not provide the requested items. If accepted your work will be featured in the Zine, Instagram and FB for a least one month, and very likely for several. We do not guarantee to keep your work listed after the issue has ended.
