We invite artists, photographers, illustrators and more, to exhibit with us as part of our ‘Winter Showcase Exhibition’ which will accompanying our 2 day Christmas ARTfair in Hebden Bridge!

Winter Showcase Exhibition

Alongside our two-day Christmas ARTfair, we're offering exhibitors the opportunity to showcase with us on the venue walls instead of displaying on a stall. The venue is open 6 days a week, with regular footfall and a wonderful Cafe. All works will be for sale during this busy festive period and we'll be hosting our annual Christmas ARTfair on Sat 30 Nov & Sun 1 Dec which never fails to be a success.

Exhibition dates: Tuesday 26 November to Saturday 21 December 2019

Acceptance fee per exhibitor: £25 for approx 100cm squared wall space.

Please note - we try allocate an equal amount of wall space per exhibitor. (Please enquire before submitting, if you require less or more wall space, we will accommodate and adjust the fee where possible).

Sales: Work will be for sale and this venue takes 25% commission from any sales.

Who is eligible for this opportunity?
Artists, photographers, illustrators, print makers. Any works which are ready to be wall mounted in form of an exhibition.
When is the deadline?
Midnight, Thurs 24 October 2019
How many works can I submit?
Depends on the size of your creations. We allocate approx 100cm wall space per exhibitor.

Please note - we try allocate an equal amount of wall space per exhibitor. (Please enquire before submitting, if you require less or more wall space, we will accommodate and adjust the fee where possible).
When is the delivery date?
Delivery:
Friday 23nd Nov, 9am - 5pm
Saturday 23rd Nov, 9am - 3pm (please inform us prior if delivering on Sat so we can make sure staff are around)
Sunday, Closed
Monday 25th Nov on later than 9.30am (hanging on this day)

Please contact us with specific delivery arrangements, we may be able to accept works before Friday 22nd Nov, if you have difficulty delivering during the above times.

What fixings are required?
Please bring your work ready to hang. We use a cable hanging system with hooks, so string or d-rings would be preferred.
When do I need to collect my work?
The venue closes to the public for the Christmas holidays on Saturday 21st December.
Works will be on display over the Christmas Closure period. The venue will reopen to the public in January, then exhibitors can collect their works (this will be emailed directly as a reminder, nearer the time!)

If works need collecting prior to the Christmas Closure, please let us know.

How much does it cost?
£25 per exhibitor.

Is there a private view / opening?
There will be no exhibition opening with this exhibition. However all exhibitors are welcome to attend our annual Christmas ARTfair, to meet the other artists, see the show and do some Christmas shopping! On Saturday 30 November & Sunday 1 December from 11am - 4pm.
What are the exhibition opening hours?
Mon to Fri 9am – 5pm | Sat 10am – 3pm | Sun Closed
Does the location have disabled access?
Yes
What publicity will be provided as part of the opportunity?
Internet promotion, social media, local newspapers & magazines, flyer and poster distribution. Upon request artists can obtain flyers to pass around to family and friends.
Do I need to be present?
Only required to drop off and collect works
What kind of proposals are you looking for?
Winter themed, landscape, floral, animal, abstract
Do you take sales commission?
Yes the venue takes 25% sales commission from any sales. Please factor this into your prices when submitting.
Do I need to have insurance?
Artists are responsible for safety of their own art work. This includes postage costs or courier options and delivery or collection of works.
