York River Art Market is an open air, Art & Design market. This bustling city centre arts market is located beside the beautiful River Ouse along Dame Judi Dench Walk. Next summer will see our third consecutive year and we are calling out for both emerging and established artists to get onboard to exhibit and sell artworks .

Artists and craftmakers take a pitch which is a space 4.5m wide and 2m high along the railings which back onto the Museum Gardens, alongside Dame Judi Dench Walk.

Artists are encouraged to hang work from the railings and are responsible for any tables, stands and weather protection which maybe required.

A pitch is £35 per day.

Next Summers available market dates are  11, , 25, 26 Aug, 1 Sept.

July 7th we are collaborating with Bloom York Festival and would love to welcome an array of artists whose work responds to horticulture on any level. (This is not compulsory )
