Yorkshire Sculpture International (YSI), the UK’s largest sculpture festival launches this summer and we want you to be involved. If you are passionate about sculpture, live in the local area and enjoy being part of ambitious projects, your volunteering journey begins here with YSI. Running between June - September 2019, the festival offers opportunities to develop your skills and widen your experience in various creative contexts.
Every volunteer will become part of the YSI team and play a key role in supporting our public programme throughout the festival. You would be based across our partner galleries: Henry Moore Institute, Leeds Art Gallery, The Hepworth Wakefield, Yorkshire Sculpture Park and outside in the public realm. Roles are being offered on a flexible basis with reimbursement of travel expenses to and from the venues across Leeds and Wakefield.

Volunteering time frame: June – September 2019. The hours you work would be flexible but we hope that applicants will be available for an initial meeting on Tuesday 14 May 2019, 10am – 2pm in Leeds.
Application details:
Successful applicants will be based in West Yorkshire and enthusiastic about working in collaboration with a wide range of people. You should be willing to travel around the region (on public transport, no driving required).
