ELEVATE ARTS PRESENTS : Yuletide at the Mill : Artisan Festive Market. Now seeking makers for a festive market to be held inside a unique heritage landmark building, set alongside the canal at the North of England Centre for Music & Arts, Marsden, Standedge Tunnel. Applications are now open for artists, makers and artisan food producers to take part in our Yuletide Maker’s Market. We are looking for exhibitors offering high-quality, affordable artwork, handmade crafts and artisan food products that will make perfect Christmas gifts. Artist & Maker Call-Out 


 Yuletide Market at the North of England Centre for Music & Arts, Marsden, Standedge Tunnel

Applications are now open for artists, makers and artisan food producers to take part in our Yuletide Maker’s Market at the beautiful Marsden North of England Centre for Music & Arts.

We are looking for exhibitors offering high-quality, affordable artwork, handmade crafts and artisan food products that make perfect Christmas gifts.

This is our very first Yuletide Market and to help us build a fantastic event and support independent creatives, we are delighted to offer a special introductory stall fee of just £30.

We are curating a diverse, high-quality event celebrating original artwork, craftsmanship and creativity. We welcome applications from independent artists, makers and artisan producers.

About the Event

Our aim is to create a welcoming festive destination where visitors can discover unique, locally made Christmas gifts, original artwork and beautiful handmade products.

Visitors can enjoy:

• A carefully curated selection of affordable original art, handmade gifts and artisan food
• A beautiful venue with exhibition space across two spacious floors
• A fully accessible space, welcoming everyone to enjoy the event
• Free art workshops throughout the day
• Live Christmas music creating a warm and festive atmosphere
• Delicious refreshments served in the ground-floor cafe
• The wonderful surroundings of Marsden, with beautiful countryside walks and excellent public transport links

Important Information for Exhibitors:

• This is a curated event, and spaces will be allocated following review of applications by Elevate Arts CIC Board to ensure a varied and balanced selection of exhibitors.
• All artwork and products must be original, handmade or independently produced. AI-generated artwork will not be accepted.
• Artisan food producers must hold appropriate food hygiene certification and comply with all relevant food safety and allergen requirements.
• All exhibitors are responsible for arranging their own public liability insurance and ensuring they have appropriate cover for their participation in the event.
 

How to Apply to Yuletide at the Mill

Please send us :

• Your name and business name
• 3–5 images of your work or products
• A short description of what you create or produce
• Links to your website and/or social media pages/Instagram/Facebook handle (if applicable)

Applications close: 30th September 2026 

Spaces are limited and we expect them to fill quickly, so early applications are encouraged.

Selected exhibitors will also be promoted across our social media channels in the lead-up to the event and the event will be advertised widely.
This event will form part of Kirklees ‘Seasons of Culture,’ an annual themed cultural initiative across West Yorkshire, funded by the West Yorkshire Combined Authority in partnership with local authorities and visitor partnerships
 

We can’t wait to welcome a wonderful mix of artists, makers and artisan food producers for what we hope will become a much-loved annual festive event in the heart of Marsden.
