Ilkley Arts
An artist-led charitable organization with a mission to celebrate and promote the arts.
Based in Ilkley in Wharfedale, Ilkley Arts supports the creative pursuits of both emerging and established artists.
It runs a membership scheme, supporting its members with bursaries, workshops, open studio events and pop-up exhibitions and has established networking opportunities for local artists, as well as supporting a youth scholarship in partnership with Art School Ilkley. It also hosts an online selling platform for its members at www.discoverilkleyart.co.uk
Ilkley Arts runs a creative residency, ‘Artist in the Attic’, providing affordable short-term working space for creatives and has studio space available for one-off hire for running creative workshops and independent pop-up exhibitions. In addition to these activities, Ilkley Arts co-ordinates exhibiting opportunities for participation beyond its own membership.

Submissions are invited by Ilkley Arts, an artist-led charitable organisation, for its first Open Exhibition: 'Take Time'. The exhibition of works selected by our invited panel will be held at the historic Grade 1 listed Ilkley Manor House in Autumn 2023. Submissions are particularly welcome from new and emerging artists and artists whose work has not previously been shown in Ilkley. No fee is payable for submission.
