Hull Culture and Leisure

Hull's unique Museums Quarter - consisting of Wilberforce House, the Hull and East Riding Museum, Streetlife and the Arctic Corsair trawler - is a great place to start your discovery of historic Hull. But don’t forget the Ferens Art Gallery and the Maritime Museum in the city centre, not to mention Hands On History in Trinity Square as well.

You’ll find the Museums Quarter on High Street in the heart of the Old Town, on the banks of the River Hull. The old warehouses, merchant dwellings, lanes and pubs nearby all lend their unique flavour to this historic district.

All of our museums are situated in Hull City Centre and are within short walking distance of the bus and train station (Paragon Interchange).

Entry into all of our museums is free!

Christmas and New Year opening times

Each site is closed 24 - 28 December inclusive, and 1 January.
