The RAN Collective is looking for visuals that respond or relate to the theme 'Prologue' for their launch night at The Artefact, Birmingham.

The RAN Collective is a new audio-visual platform, creating pop-up multidisciplinary spaces for artists and creative makers to respond to and interpret themes. Designed to take various shapes and forms, RAN represents its founders who come from a range of backgrounds – art, radio, photography, and both the written and spoken word.

RAN's Launch Night will be a showcase of the various artforms we aim to keep bringing together in our pop-up spaces; a preface of what's to come. This event is supported by BRMTWN

RAN is looking for visuals that respond or relate to the theme/prompt 'Prologue'. The theme is open for interpretation, and we accept submissions from animators, filmmakers, video artists, graphic designers, [moving] image makers, and others who feel their submission may fit the theme.

Successful submissions will be showcased at RAN's launch night at The Artefact in September, accompanied by performance artists responding to the same theme. We will also send you an 'official selection' graphic and documentation of the event for your portfolio/website.

We currently cannot promise a screening fee, but are in the process of securing funding to do so.

Deadline: Saturday 10th September
