I am a lifelong self taught artist who at a point in life when many of my peers retired began a project with three artists friends to firmly place creativity, artistic exploration & development of practise firmly at the centre of life by opening a gallery, studio & workshop. When I am not creating I am exploring my universe, collecting adventures, images, & impressions.

My practise centres around my exploration of the wonders of watercolour. I find the medium fascinating & quite magical, from the way it flows & isnt quite controllable, to the effects & un cow ted surprises it brings. I work in conversation with these elements of my medium. My work is largely impressionistic, using imagination, colour & impression to paint feeling & energy.
