With my science background, I try to blend the stories of how and why things are, with my desire to express these wonders in colour and form. My focus is part science, part enchantment and growing concern. I want to wonder at this precious planet, in all its fragility and resilience.

Report this?I am a teacher of Geography and until a few years ago I never thought I had a creative bone in my body. I then discovered wood turning and the joy of shaping wood as if it was clay. I have rapidly moved away from traditional wood turning and like to use a variety of non-traditional wood and different materials that enhance the wood. I like form and shape inspired by nature.
