I am an artist who works with the medium of textiles and embroidery. I reimagine the use of this traditional practice by creating pieces that highlight themes l feel strongly about. Often l subvert the initial meaning to produce a work with a multiple context.

I am a visual artist, taking material influence from my context and the technology I encounter; I make works that begin and end with the body, seasoned with an existential narrative.

My practice revolves around the idea of labour intensity, often in a highly gendered context. I work mainly in mark making and textiles but also use writing to inform and underpin my practice.

My work is an exploration of the art-object in an age of the non-object. Through various media such as painting, video, sculptural installation and web-based art, my practice explores the relationship between our physical and virtual worlds and interrogates our experience and behaviour within and between them, considering themes of space, objectivity & erasure.
