    I am currently producing work that is a a combination of paintings and mixed media relief pieces that combine embroidery, paper clay, precious metal clay, paper, watercolour, ink and found objects. Each piece is accompanied with a poem about and as a response to the physical work. I also work as a development librarian.

    I am a Brighton based artist. A working mum who tries to find a time and space to express herself via art. This is passion that has been put aside and pushed down the long to do list. Putting myself first became very important since last year I had a mental breakdown and panick attack. Recently joined the Brighton Women Artists group whose main aim is to promote women from all background.

    I am a mixed media artist and Designer/ Maker I have always been interested in interdisciplinary or mixed-media arts exploring different mediums, i trained in the North East of England at university of Northumbria in Newcastle. recently designing and building structures for festival installation.     Poppy Whatmore is a visual artist based in London. She studied an MA Fine Art at Slade School of Fine Art with an Arts Council Award. She was nominated for the Adrian Carruthers Studio Award and won the Aesthetica Art Prize in 2013 . Selected group shows include, 'A Body A Part', APT gallery, artist and curator; 'Warped Domesticity'. She was selected for Hogchester Arts in 2023.
