    I grew up in the heart of the textile industry, and spent many childhood days playing amongst the derelict mills that are our heritage. After travelling extensively, I was drawn back by the rugged and remote beauty of the Pennines. My passion is capturing the drama of our landscape, its social and industrial heritage and the lives of the people who lived and worked here then and now.

Layla's work was shortlisted for the Flourish Awards for excellence in Printmaking and selected for Ones to Watch, Yorkshire 2024.     I’m Elizabeth Benson, a UK-based artist working between textile and sculpture. I explore how cloth, dye and fibre respond to contact, pressure and time, using natural dyes, tannins and iron to create layered works where colour and form emerge through interaction rather than control.

    Samuel Booth (b.1982) is a photographer based in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, UK. A brain injury in 2009 caused years of daily chronic pain, which photography has been a lifesaving therapy for. The photography started originally as part of a Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award hobby in 2001, it has played a very important role throughout, especially now.
