    Amy Sterly is originally from Chicago and received a B.F.A. in drawing and sculpture from Rockford College, Illinois in 1986. She moved to the U.K. in 1989 and has since exhibited throughout the UK, Europe and the USA. She is exploring ways of using domestic objects to make prints and installations. Collaborations and public interventions are an important aspect of her practice.

    Recent graduate of a first class degree in BA (Hons) Fine Art at the Northern School of Art. I enjoy the process of investigating landscape via graphite, paint, photography and collage.     I run Izabela Rocks as a small independent studio, handcrafting each piece using inherited crochet, weaving, and macramé techniques. I work in small batches or one-of-a-kind designs, focusing on slow, intuitive making. I source silk, fine metals, and natural gemstones from trusted suppliers, prioritising quality, responsible sourcing, and minimal, recyclable packaging.
