    I am a neurobiologist by day and artist by night. I explore various topics directly impacting me like the emotional impact of chronic pain, the nature, and the science around me.     I graduated from the Royal college of Art 2001. As an artist I am interested in the fugitive relationship between the sublime, the abject, and contemporary perceptions of beauty.     Nick Malone crosses art forms to create mystery through broken narratives in paintings, drawings and artist’s books. Initially a prizewinning writer, he abandoned his former life to become a full-time artist. His work has been exhibited across the world, from Tokyo to the United States, including at the Royal Academy, the Carrousel du Louvre and the RSA, and has won various national awards.

    Milena Makani is a German abstract painter based in London, living with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome.
