  Back to profiles

Ali Gulec is a visual artist blending skull motifs with floral, surreal and digital techniques, exploring life, death, and transformation through multidisciplinary practice.

Ali Gulec is a visual artist and designer recognized for his surreal illustrations that merge skull imagery with floral, cosmic, and organic motifs. While his practice is rooted in digital illustration, he often integrates traditional hand-drawing techniques, photography, and experimental methods to expand the expressive range of his works. This multidisciplinary approach blends craftsmanship with contemporary tools, creating a unique visual language that is both precise and imaginative.

Alongside commercial collaborations—ranging from apparel graphics to large-scale wall art—his personal practice focuses on themes of transformation, mortality, and the coexistence of beauty and decay. Today, Ali’s works reach collectors worldwide through online galleries and independent platforms, while he actively prepares for exhibitions in Turkey and abroad.
