I am a teacher of Geography and until a few years ago I never thought I had a creative bone in my body. I then discovered wood turning and the joy of shaping wood as if it was clay. I have rapidly moved away from traditional wood turning and like to use a variety of non-traditional wood and different materials that enhance the wood. I like form and shape inspired by nature.

They navigate the intricate relationship

I’m an award-winning abstract artist drawn to the emotional and narrative layers that shape who we are. My work begins with a concept or feeling and evolves through intuitive mark-making, paint, and collage. I explore how storytelling—both internal and shared—helps us make sense of ourselves and the world around us.
