    I am a teacher of Geography and until a few years ago I never thought I had a creative bone in my body. I then discovered wood turning and the joy of shaping wood as if it was clay. I have rapidly moved away from traditional wood turning and like to use a variety of non-traditional wood and different materials that enhance the wood. I like form and shape inspired by nature.

    I produce limited edition fine art prints, etchings, Lino prints and wood engravings at my home based workshop using traditional methods with the aid of four antique printing presses from the 19th century. Founded my own ‘private press’ in 1974 titled Bracken Press.

    My practice reimagines post-apocalyptic futures and social ecologies through a queer and disabled lens. Through sculpture, I explore how natural life cycles are disrupted and altered to develop a landscape of regrowth and hope.

    I am a visual artist based in the north west of England. I studied BA Hons Fine Art at the University of Salford 2017 – 2020. In 2018 I won the Howarth Life Drawing Prize and traveled to Berlin with the bursary award. My current practice focuses predominantly on painting.     Hi! My name is Ellice and I'm a full time animal lover and artist. I'm 28 from Scotland and I create whimsical animal illustrations, oil paintings and ceramic art.
