    Kate Brown is a North Yorkshire-based visual artist. Grounded in rhizomatic thinking, her practice considers how memory, material, and place are carried through process. Rooted in transience and grief, her work embraces change as a generative condition. She has exhibited in the UK, Japan, and Germany and is currently undertaking an MFA.

    Based in the UK East Midlands, I became a full time artist in 2019. Semi abstract in nature, my work combines a fine art background and a long held fascination with wood in all forms. Sustainability underpins my practice; resource management and contributing to art communities is very important to me.     Laura Porter (b. Lewisham, 1991) is based between North Devon and South London, and is the founding director and curator of Studio KIND in Barnstaple, Devon. Working with discarded clothing – a material that carries with it cyclical histories of land, worker, consumer and waste – Laura breaks down the garments to create a raw material that is re-formed into solid structures.

    I am a photographer and a qualified teacher. I tutor workshops in basic digital photography and cyanotype printing. My main practice is in documentary photography. I also have a passion for Camera Obscura and have designed and built my own portable CO. Inspired by largescale artworks I also have a passion for light paintings and abstractions made at night.
