    Born 1957 and raised by artist parents, I've been immersed in creativity all my life. I completed an AA in art before emigrating to London, settling, working as a professional seamstress, and having 2 boys 18 years apart (1983, 2001). Acquired a BA in Interior Architecture in 2000. My art and craft has emerged and evolved in various forms and waves across the 40+ years I've lived here.

    A painting practice where images emerge from reused palette surfaces, testing how little information is needed for a figure to appear. Rooted in Gestalt, predictive perception, pareidolia and history, these small works feel discovered rather than designed, carrying tension, tenderness and the pleasure of seeing something unexpected arrive.

    Hi I’m a self employed artist/illustrator and art teacher. I run art workshops, create wall and window murals for businesses and educational settings and I create original art /illustration prints which I stock in my online shop and sell at art markets and exhibitions. I illustrate empowered perfectly imperfect women, and I also draw figures exploring the great outdoors. I use inks and collage.

    I am a mixed media artist and Designer/ Maker I have always been interested in interdisciplinary or mixed-media arts exploring different mediums, i trained in the North East of England at university of Northumbria in Newcastle. recently designing and building structures for festival installation.     Laura James (b.1994) is a British painter based in London. Her practice explores the unconscious crossover between our internal and external worlds, seeking to unearth a primal place where the mind meets the land. Using predominantly water-based mediums, coloured pencil and monoprint, she weaves dreamlike terrains that emerge through a multi-layered and intuitive process.

    I am an artist and designer living and working in York, UK. I grew up on the edge of Dartmoor and studied fine art, illustration and graphic design in Exeter and York.     I graduated from the Royal college of Art 2001. As an artist I am interested in the fugitive relationship between the sublime, the abject, and contemporary perceptions of beauty.
