    Recent graduate of a first class degree in BA (Hons) Fine Art at the Northern School of Art. I enjoy the process of investigating landscape via graphite, paint, photography and collage. I absolutely love being on location with a sketchbook and pencil. I am Interested in the emotional, historical and environmental aspects of the landscape that give my work purpose and warmth.

    Shona Davies and Jon Klein both studied at Sir John Cass College of Art where they graduated in 2007 with first class honours. They were also joint recipients of the Owen Rowley Prize and John Cass Purchase prize. Klein specialised in Time Based Media and Davies in Printmaking and 3-D. Dave Monaghan studied at Liverpool and Canterbury Colleges of Art where he specialised in sculpture.

    I started out in art creating pencil pet portraits for friends and family. When these proved popular, I branched out and began experimenting with a variety of media, and a variety of subjects. I am always learning, and thoroughly enjoying the process. I decided to take the plunge and set up a website for my art earlier in 2025.

    Based in West Wales, I am a bilingual artist who has earned a successful living over the past twenty years within the creative arts by competing for both public sited artwork commissions and artist-in-residencies throughout Wales and England.     I am a graduate of Reading University and the RCA. Currently I have a studio at APT in Deptford, London. I have exhibited continuously since 1977 both in terms of static installations but more recently involving projection onto objects. These include reconstructions of the night sky and orreries using 00 scale model railways. An online catalogue of small works and movie shorts support this.

    For over 20 years Claire Edge has been working as a printmaker in South Wales, producing collagraph and relief prints. Recently she has focused her practice under the moniker ‘Miss Edge Illustration’, creating reduction lino prints featuring animals, flowers, plants, still life, and interiors.

    The canvas is a place of experimentation and learning, light is centeral to all my Painting. I like breaking down information to its structure, I hope to express feelings or memories but I have no pre-determined outcome in mind. I let the painting unfold using Acrylic paint, sand and gold foil, Im aiming to capture light and space in its physical sense.

    My work explores the relationship between science and art. I visited the Moscow Museum of Cosmonautics and I was inspired to paint. Struck by the huge space hardware, it seemed to me that space exploration represented the most positive aspects of humanity. Great achievements are only made possible by the collaboration of skilled, knowledgeable people working together towards a common goal.
