I am a watercolor artist specializing in capturing the dialogue between history and modern life. My work explores the interplay of architectural heritage, fleeting moments, and emotional depth. Through layered washes and dynamic contrasts, I seek to evoke a sense of time, place, and memory, inviting viewers to pause and see the world with renewed perception.

I make paintings about what it is to be human and our dis-connection from the natural world. I am inspired by Adam and Eve and how paradise lives in our psyche as both a longing for home or mythical place. My work as a psychotherapist is mirrored in the psychodrama of the work, the painted surface and imagery reflecting our fractures, flaws, both psychological/physical, and our wish for love.

I'm a painter of nature, climate, weather and natural phenomenon using recessive colours, working in Norfolk, UK. My work is associated with embracing the shadow side of the natural world, themes of non self, and a deep concern for the state of the climate. I predominantly use oil for landscapes and seascapes with a limited colour palette, which shifts slowly over time.

My artistic practice centres on stained and painted glass, exploring light as material and metaphor. Combining traditional techniques with experimental surfaces, I create contemplative works focused on presence, energy, and human connection. Informed by spiritual practice and meditation, my art fosters transformation, inner stillness, and shared experience.

These become dynamic and intimate works that emerge from gestural mark making and experimentation with pigments and grounds. Actively collaborating as an environmental artist.
