  Back to profiles

I am a young LGBTQIA+ artist based in the North East of England, currently studying Fine Art (BA Hons) at Teesside University. I grew up in a low income, single parent household, moving from council estate to council estate. This setting and the people in it fuel my art and gave me the drive to be the best I can be.

As a painter, I like to explore different styles and levels of realism to convey scenes, emotions and situations set within low income communities. As a sculptor, I use reportage as a way of collecting materials which I then display in a way that is abstract yet intentional. Playing with colours, textures, shapes and sizes- no one sculpture is like the last.
