Report this?I am a painter of ideas and passions, sourced from the landscapes around us and the mindscapes they evoke is me. With my science background, I try to blend the stories of how and why things are, with my desire to express these wonders in colour and form. My focus is part science, part enchantment and growing concern. I want to wonder at this precious planet, in all its fragility and resilience.

Report this?A painting practice where images emerge from reused palette surfaces, testing how little information is needed for a figure to appear. Report this?I am a teacher of Geography and until a few years ago I never thought I had a creative bone in my body. I then discovered wood turning and the joy of shaping wood as if it was clay. I have rapidly moved away from traditional wood turning and like to use a variety of non-traditional wood and different materials that enhance the wood. I like form and shape inspired by nature.

Report this?Working with ink pens and watercolour pencils on paper. When creating, I love to play with little shapes, lines and patterns I see in my surroundings. I pickup elements that I see in nature, and back in the studio, I let my ink loose on it. I say it like that, because what I exactly will make is never clear before I start, the ink and its whimsical way of flowing always add surprise.
