Her site specific installations respond to the immediate surroundings, utilising or are inspired by found materials.     I’m a contemporary artist creating vibrant, textured landscapes inspired by peaceful woods and delicate light. With a First-Class BA Hons in Fine Art painting and printmaking, I now work from my studio in the Peak District. Inspired by nature, I build layers of acrylic or oil with intuitive, impressionist techniques to evoke calm, colour and a blend of abstraction and realism.

    My work explores, identity, space and belonging through memory and migration. I specialise with analogue film and photography, combining this with digital mediums to create layered pieces of artwork. I have a special interest in exploring stories from the past, stories of migration and transition of cultures in today's society. I am one of the founders of an artist collectives called COVert Arts.

    For the last few years, I have tried to paint in a way that no other artist paints. I do not see the point of painting in a similar way to other artists. For THE NATURE OF THINGS series, I have found a new way of applying paint to figurative paintings. In the MEMORY AND DESIRE series I paint initially conventionally, but then cover the picture with a monochrome colour.

    I am an interdisciplinary contemporary artist from the South Coast, and recent Fine Art graduate, living and working in London. My practice is primarily involved with site-responsive, practice-based research projects, exploring sacred encounters in the natural world and creative practice as a navigational device, through interrelations between themes of ecology, place, mythology and mysticism.
