    My name is Gemma Yates and I'm a painter from the UK. I love to paint natural forms such as flowers, trees, figures and thriving landscapes.     I am a painter living and working in London. Working primarily in oils and mixed media to create works that move between abstraction, figuration, and imagined space. My practice is rooted in an intuitive, process-led approach in which imagery emerges through slow layering, erasure, and reconstruction.

    I am a teacher of Geography and until a few years ago I never thought I had a creative bone in my body. I then discovered wood turning and the joy of shaping wood as if it was clay. I have rapidly moved away from traditional wood turning and like to use a variety of non-traditional wood and different materials that enhance the wood. I like form and shape inspired by nature.

    I'm Ella Johnston, my practice is an ongoing investigation into mark-making, gesture, and the calligraphic line. I (mainly) draw, paint and create sculptural pieces.     Franky Blues is a self-taught multidisciplinary artist born and raised in Portugal but currently residing in North Yorkshire, England. Franky's works aim to explore the innermost self and its place in contemporary society.     I’m a local artist working from my studio at Art Space Portsmouth, Hampshire in the U.K. I graduated from The University of Chichester with a B.A. and an M.A. in Fine Art. My practice usually involves painting, drawing and photography. I was artist in residence at Portsmouth cathedral and have exhibited throughout the region.
