I am a freelance photographic artist. Within my work I am interested exploring the possibilities of the transformation of the everyday. I work on commissioned pieces with performers and also collaborate with friends and family who appear as subjects within my photographic work. I would describe my style as darkly enchanting and familiar yet uncomfortably strange.

I work on commissioned pieces with performers and also collaborate with friends and family who appear as subjects within my photographic work. I would describe my style as darkly enchanting and familiar yet uncomfortably strange.
I also appropriate existing imagery and re-imagine these in a new context using collage and animation techniques.
My most recent work has been experimenting with transforming my two dimensional imaginary worlds into three dimensional immersive experiences sometimes working with performers allowing the audience to walk in and become part of these imaginary spaces.
I am very interested in working outside a white walled gallery setting, engaging people in artistic experiences who may not normally seek traditional exhibition spaces .
When creating my work I am inspired by things that most people may had some access to such as fairy tales, cinema, theatre and tv programmes, I would like to think this allows my work to have a wide appeal. I am inspired the idea of a light hearted approach to art as a way of rising above the sometimes mundane act of everyday life. I enjoy the process of involving people to be part of my work tapping into their desire to be playful and sometimes silly.
Combining macabre art and uncanny theatrics with sinister storytelling, 'IT’S ALIVE' invited the audience to enter an intriguing world of devilish dolls.
