    Milena Makani is a German abstract painter based in London, living with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. Utilizing acrylics, watercolors and inks on mineral stone sheets, Makani created anatomic and deeply psychological abstractions that lend a visual language to her lived experience with disabilities and permanent pain as she explores themes of resilience, energy, serenity, fragility, stoicism and joy.

    Robyn Daly is an Irish-based fine art photographer whose work seeks to develop a new visual language through which women's lived experience can be expressed. Working with long-exposure performative self-portraiture in abandoned domestic interiors, she creates photographs that move beyond the fixed likeness to express the experience of inhabiting a body.

    Every artwork is an invitation to pause. I don’t create paintings simply to be looked at. I create spaces to be entered. Mixed media, conceptual artist exploring emotional memory through textured abstraction, found objects and sculptural surfaces. Through painting, photography, travel or writing, create layered works that invite viewers to slow down, look deeper and discover what often unseen.

    I am an artist based in Cumbria, originally from South Yorkshire. My main focus within my art practice is to create sculptural artworks by recreating and repurposing items and materials that I collect, source and find.     Born 1957 and raised by artist parents, I've been immersed in creativity all my life. I completed an AA in art before emigrating to London, settling, working as a professional seamstress, and having 2 boys 18 years apart (1983, 2001). Acquired a BA in Interior Architecture in 2000. My art and craft has emerged and evolved in various forms and waves across the 40+ years I've lived here.
