    I am a graduate professional artist with BA Fine Art First Class Honours 2006. I'm inspired by the landscape and create work that abstracts what I see and experience.     I’m a plein air painter based in London, my artistic practice is almost exclusively rooted in plein air (outdoor/from life) location based observational painting. I find that through painting outdoors the quality of light and feeling I get from the places I visit comes across in the sense of place in the paintings capturing a moment in time.

    I am a teacher of Geography and until a few years ago I never thought I had a creative bone in my body. I then discovered wood turning and the joy of shaping wood as if it was clay. I have rapidly moved away from traditional wood turning and like to use a variety of non-traditional wood and different materials that enhance the wood. I like form and shape inspired by nature.
