    Since my training at Edinburgh College of Art I have been inspired by nature. My mission explores the emotional symbolism of my subject matter and seeks to distil the image to enhance this. I am a slow meditative painter. This process puts me in touch with the healing spirit I inherited from the medics in my family. I want to help people find an inner sense of peace and connection with nature.

    David Fox is a hand weaver and textile artist who explores materials and form with an interest in people, place or textile heritage. His studio is at Sunny Bank Mills in Farsley just outside of Leeds, and is also known as Fox on the Sley.

    Atiyya Mirza is a multidisciplinary artist based in Bradford. Her practice explores sculptural textile art, using different techniques and mediums such as photography, film and installation art. Her work explores a range of themes of empowerment, storytelling and identity.     Based in the UK East Midlands, I became a full time artist in 2019. Semi abstract in nature, my work combines a fine art background and a long held fascination with wood in all forms. Sustainability underpins my practice; resource management and contributing to art communities is very important to me. I consistently exhibit in UK galleries and have collectors across the UK, Europe and US.

    I create sculpture and art installations using everyday materials and using repetition. My practice is firmly rooted in process art and influenced by postminimalist artists such as Richard Serra and Eva Hesse. I embody difficult thoughts and mental states in physical form. I'm interested in making work that sparks feelings in the viewer before thoughts.

    Born in Liverpool, UK. Studied Fine Art in Liverpool and Coventry, and worked as a community artist. Returned to full-time education for MA at Winchester School of Art, and then awarded a bursary for a PhD at Nottingham Trent University. He has exhibited widely, and worked in various roles in museums and galleries, including Tate Liverpool. He currently lives and works in London and Taipei.

Franky's works aim to explore the innermost self and its place in contemporary society.
