Over the years I have studied many arts and crafts.I now focus on painting fine art using acrylic, recently experimenting with watercolour and mixed media. My crafts back ground has inspired and fuel'd my chosen path of painting. Art brings to life my experiences, memories and dreams, propelling me into fantasy landscapes and out of this world.

Lisa V Robinson is a contemporary painter based in Westgate Studios, Wakefield. Her work is underpinned by an interest in mark making, colour and form. Rather than reverting to abstraction as a method of visualising these interests, she has developed a painting style which fuses both abstract and representational elements. Her work is mainly inspired by architecture, films and interiors.

I have two facets to my work, until recently I have been creating portraits with wool - often of political figures with a social comment or parody. More recently I have been exploring the fibrous quality of wool and creating art based around the human body. Often pushing the boundaries of tactile, visceral pieces that challenge the viewer both emotionally and physically.

An experimental printmaker using etching and other print making techniques. The work is concerned with the process of transformation of discarded and forgotten books into new printed images. The pages from books make the imagery emulating the landscape, the prints become imaginary map like places. A new 2 or 3 dimensional narrative emerges from the old books as they form a new printed landscape
