From being a mum to setting up an out of school club to having a successful corporate career to finding my zen and retraining as a holistic therapist to fulfilling my school day dream of becoming an artist and taking the best from each chapter. I work from my studio in West Yorkshire and exhibit in galleries across the UK.
I’ve been described as an Avant Garde artist. I love to experiment with style, topic, colour, medium, etc finding the joy in each (sometimes not!). Taking inspiration from my travels to France each year and art expeditions across the UK and Europe.
I enjoy participating in workshops, I see these as part of the experimental process. There’s always something to learn. I host workshops in my studio and have delivered them in other venues.
I am part of an art collective with two other artists and together we share studio and gallery space ~ Vibe Arts @ The Gallery. We have carefully curated collections of our artwork to produce themed exhibitions. As well as hosting exhibitions at our own studio for our own works, we have invited other local artists as Guest Artists to exhibit with us. We host Art Salons, Art Cafes and Art Experiences to nourish the soul.
