I am an award winning commissioned mixed media artist living in Wales. I have a MA (distinction) in Fine Art and a BA (Hons) in fine art. I have been exhibiting throughout the UK and have work in public and private collections.
My practice is concerned with materiality I am interested in industrial remnants, decay and the natural processes that act on objects, such as oxidation, calcification, heating, burning and weathering, whilst thinking about the processes that have created transformations over time. I do this by creating paintings and 3D objects using pigments, charcoal and paint, to look at the relationship between colour and texture which suggesting a continuation of the material processes.
