    Demi is a northern British contemporary abstract artist, who has lived across industrial towns and northern countryside. Demi's artwork is fuelled by these contrasting environments, her work is primarily climate focused, forming both abstract landscape and animal paintings using mixed media. As Demi is an experimental artist, you will find multiple uses of media and techniques within her work.

    I exhibited at Modern Art Oxford Open Exhibition, Angel Row Gallery Nottingham and Oscar Wilde Rooms Oxford. Film work curated at Brighton Digital Festival, Borderless Lockdown and Kings Cross Film Festival 2022. I studied graphic design and illustration online at UAL.     I am primarily a painter, based in the east of England. I apply the philosophy of collage to the materials of painting. Since graduating from Chelsea College of Arts M A course in 1998 I have worked with an archive of materials generated in the studio ( canvas offcuts and dried films/puddles/fragments of paint) to construct images from imagination and memory.

    I'm a 53 year old Artist from Yorkshire, i Love to paint what is in my head. I do occasionally like to paint a portrait, usually a personality from a band. Having suffered with my mental health issues i find it a personally tailored therapy that seems to work well. I would like very much to share my paintings.

    I am a multi media painter and textile artist specialising in hand embroidery. I have a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Hand Embroidery for Fashion, Interiors and Textile Art.
