    I am Gabe.G Taylor, an artist practitioner based in the West Midlands. I have a BA in Illustration, and have recently achieved a Masters degree in Visual Communication at BCU.     My art practice combines paper collage art and illustration with sharing my creative journey as a self-taught artist.     I am a printmaker and artist and I work from my attic studio in West Yorkshire. My prints are influenced by my love of being immersed in nature and my belief that everyone has a right to be wrapped in the natural world. They are also influenced by my love of arts that explore folklores, especially those relating to the changing seasons.

    I am a photographer from a Fine Art background. My career has been in Advertising producing work for Ad Agencies and design companies. However throughout that time I have always balanced the commissioned work with my own personal practice which ranges from Landscape, Industrial and still life work. I am now retired from the commercial arena so I can now concentrate on my personal work.

    My passion is for fabric and stitch, my background in illustration, fashion and hand-embroidery. Recently my practice has grown using new methodologies to create large-scale installations and interactions. My work is generous and inclusive, acting like a type of therapy, offered to the viewer with gentle humour. Methods I use are traditionally craft related, all familiar childhood activities.
