    I'm a stained glass designer and maker based in Harrogate, North Yorkshire. My style has a contemporary/medieval/retro feel and is inspired by the natural environment, and flora and fauna. Celestial bodies are a big theme as well as green men. My iconic fish are made for the scrap glass left over from larger projects. I also repair stained glass windows.

    As a child I loved to draw and paint, and as an adult would loved to have had the time to follow it up. However, work and family kept me busy. When I retired I promised myself I would join an art class and take it seriously. Though I don't hold a degree, I am still being very well taught, by excellent professional teachers .,so you are never too old to learn about something you love doing.

    I am a photographer from a Fine Art background. My career has been in Advertising producing work for Ad Agencies and design companies. However throughout that time I have always balanced the commissioned work with my own personal practice which ranges from Landscape, Industrial and still life work.     Jenny Beard (b. 1994) is a Leeds-based artist from Barnsley whose abstract, textural paintings explore digital aesthetics, dissociation, and working-class identity. Influenced by Action painting, Meta-painting and Postdigital art, she works mainly with oil, acrylic, and mixed media on canvas.
