    Im an abstract painter, with great sensitivity, who creates his works by bending reality and sometimes even touching on irrationality. On canvas, I expresses my subjective point of view of things, people and the world. motto ‘Everything that is not obvious is exciting.     Katy works with Merino wool, using felting and embroidery to create landscape stories. Changing skies, seasons and rural scenes inspire her beautiful pictures. She is currently making wearable accessories and clothing using the same techniques. Katy has exhibited her work for some years and can be found at local artisan fairs and shops. She is a member of the International Feltmakers Association.

    Graduating in 1987 from Maidstone College of Art, with a Fine Arts BA (hons) degree I entered the world of teaching after gaining a PGCE at Bretton hall. My role as art teacher rapidly developed to head of department, head of faculty, to becoming an AST, and deputy head at a SEND School, Recently I was a teacher of nurture after 2 years of art, photography, teaching before retiring in Dec 2024
