The paintings are an expression of experiencing the natural environments. They are a playful celebration of colour, shapes and a sensory response to the exuberance found in plant life. I am living and working from my studio in Hackney Wick London and my work has been in exhibitions here in the UK and internationally.

My practise is primarily painting. Large paintings in acrylic on canvas are my mediums to work with. I apply a range of methods and processes that lend themselves particularly well to responding and capturing different types of phenomena. The natural influences we are surrounded by like the elements and the ever changing nature of flowers and trees are fascinating to me. I have worked with plant dyes on textile and with Cyanotype while in residence at the Botanical Gardens in Buenos Aires and here in London at Kew Gardens. The intention for the work is always to create a liminal space with scope for the viewer to respond to it in their own personal way.
